Cops save dogs from large fire

VIDEO DESCRIPTION

Three dogs were rescued from a fast-moving fire thanks to the quick action of police officers. Just after midnight, officers responded to a structure fire. They arrived to find a detached garage fully engulfed in flames and spreading rapidly to nearby buildings. As they began evacuating surrounding homes, officers spotted a dog trapped in a kennel surrounded by fire. Bodycam footage shows officers prying open the gate of the first kennel to free the dog. A second kennel required bolt cutters, which one officer retrieved by jumping a fence and returning to his vehicle. Officers then cut through the fence and freed two pit bulls from an enclosed kennel, with one officer seen carrying a dog to safety. All three dogs were safely rescued as flames threatened the property. Officers ensured the homeowner evacuated as well and confirmed that no pets were left behind.
