Police release footage of officers rescuing pet owners whose van was swept off the road by floodwaters. The van was washed off a bridge and wedged against a tree. One man clung to the passenger door, while another was trapped inside with three dogs as floodwaters rose. Officers wade over 100 meters to rescue the first man and a puppy. An officer then carried the elderly man on his back to higher ground, while other officers coaxed the two remaining dogs, a Kelpie and a Great Dane, out of the van.
