A seventh-grader is hailed as a hero for safely stopping a school bus after the driver fainted. When the student noticed the driver in distress, he quickly moved to the front, took control of the steering wheel, and gradually applied the brakes, preventing the bus from veering into oncoming traffic. After stopping the bus, he instructed his classmates to call 911. Emergency services arrived promptly, tending to the driver and ensuring the students were safely transferred to another bus.
